Description

A light and flaky fish fillet recipe laced with lemon and garlic, perfect for capturing the essence of coastal dining.


Ingredients

  • 4-5 fish fillets (cod, tilapia, or flounder)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (adjust to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease your baking dish with olive oil or line it with parchment paper.
  3. Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels.
  4. Drizzle melted butter and olive oil over each fillet, then evenly sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Zest the lemon and sprinkle the zest over the fillets.
  6. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fish.
  7. Arrange the fillets in the prepared dish and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily.
  8. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil during the first half of cooking to maintain moisture.
