Description

Delicious shrimp tacos marinated in lime and cilantro, topped with creamy slaw for a refreshing and flavorful meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 2 cups cabbage (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Marinate the shrimp with lime juice, cilantro, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Prepare the slaw by mixing shredded cabbage with mayonnaise, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet and cook the marinated shrimp for 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque.
  4. Warm the tortillas until pliable.
  5. Assemble the tacos with shrimp on each tortilla and top with creamy slaw. Garnish with extra cilantro if desired.
