Description

Delicious shrimp tacos made with fresh shrimp, vibrant spices, and crisp toppings, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Lime wedges for serving


Instructions

  1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a bowl, combine chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss the shrimp in this spice mix until evenly coated.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add a splash of olive oil once hot.
  4. Place the seasoned shrimp in the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Warm the tortillas in a separate pan or microwave.
  6. Assemble each taco by placing a few shrimp on a tortilla and topping with shredded cabbage, avocado slices, and cilantro.
