Ingredients

  • Honey, 2 tablespoons (30 ml) (30 milliliters)
  • Orange juice, fresh, 1/4 cup (60 ml) (60 milliliters)
  • Lemon juice, fresh, 2 tablespoons (30 ml) (30 milliliters)
  • Lime juice, fresh, 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters)
  • Garlic, minced, 2 cloves
  • Ginger, fresh, grated, 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams)
  • Olive oil, 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Orange zest, 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (2 grams)
  • Lemon zest, 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (2 grams)
  • Green onions, sliced, 2 tablespoons (30 ml) (8 grams)
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish, optional


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, orange juice, lemon juice, lime juice, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  3. Stir the mixture until the honey is fully dissolved.
  4. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow baking dish.
  5. Pour the citrus-soy mixture over the salmon, ensuring each piece is well coated.
  6. Allow the salmon to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  7. Drizzle olive oil over the marinated salmon.
  8. Season the fillets with salt and black pepper to taste.
  9. Sprinkle orange zest and lemon zest evenly over the salmon.
