Description

A delightful sushi roll featuring crab and shrimp, topped with a creamy mixture and baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • Sushi rice
  • Nori (seaweed sheets)
  • Crab meat or imitation crab
  • Creamy mayonnaise
  • Sriracha or hot sauce
  • Cooked and chopped shrimp or scallops
  • Cucumber (julienned)
  • Avocado (sliced)
  • Soy sauce (for serving)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Prepare sushi rice according to package instructions and allow it to cool.
  2. Lay a sheet of nori on a bamboo sushi mat.
  3. Spread a thin layer of sushi rice over the nori, leaving a 1-inch border at the top.
  4. Add crab meat, cucumber, and avocado on top of the rice.
  5. Roll the sushi tightly from the bottom up, using the mat to help.
  6. For the volcano topping, mix crab meat, mayonnaise, and Sriracha in a bowl.
  7. Spread the mixture on top of the rolled sushi.
  8. Place it in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes until bubbly.
  9. Slice into pieces, garnish with sesame seeds, and serve with soy sauce.

Notes

Keep hands wet while rolling to prevent sticking. Don’t overfill your rolls.
