Ingredients

  • Fresh ahi tuna
  • Cucumbers
  • Avocado
  • Scallions
  • Seaweed salad
  • Soy sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Rice (sushi or jasmine)

  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions and let it cool.
  2. While the rice is cooling, prepare the fresh ahi tuna by cutting it into bite-sized cubes.
  3. Chop the cucumbers, avocado, and scallions.
  4. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, and sesame seeds to create a dressing.
  5. In serving bowls, layer the cooked rice, followed by the tuna, vegetables, and a small serving of seaweed salad.
  6. Drizzle the dressing over the top and serve immediately.

Notes

Choose high-quality fish for the best flavor, and consider garnishing with additional sesame seeds or sliced nori.
