Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked tuna, drained and flaked
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil, for frying
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flaked tuna, breadcrumbs, and flour.
- Add the eggs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully incorporated.
- Heat oil in your skillet over medium heat.
- Use a scoop to portion the fritter mixture and carefully drop it into the hot oil.
- Fry each fritter for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
- Remove the fritters and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding finely chopped fresh herbs like dill or cilantro, or spices like cayenne pepper or lemon zest.
