Description

Crispy on the outside and flaky within, tuna fritters are a delightful seafood dish that celebrates flavor and community.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of tuna, drained and flaked
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine drained tuna, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, and breadcrumbs.
  2. Add fresh parsley and beaten egg to the mixture.
  3. Season with salt and pepper, and mix until all ingredients meld together.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Form small patties from the mixture and carefully place them in the hot oil.
  6. Fry fritters for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the pan and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Notes

Experiment with additional veggies or spices for a personalized touch. Always rest the mixture before frying for enhanced flavor.
