  • 1 cup (120 grams) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup (120 grams) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup (50 grams) grated vegetarian Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon (5 milliliters) truffle oil
  • 8 ounces (225 grams) cooked shrimp meat, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon (15 milliliters) olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon (3 grams) chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the all-purpose flour to the skillet and whisk continuously for about 1 minute to form a roux.
  4. Gradually pour in the whole milk, whisking constantly until the mixture thickens.
  5. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses until melted and smooth.
  6. Add the truffle oil to the cheese sauce and stir well to combine.
  7. Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste.
  8. In a separate pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  9. Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  10. Add the chopped lobster meat to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  11. Combine the cooked macaroni and lobster mixture with the cheese sauce in the skillet.
  12. Stir everything together until well combined and heated through.
  13. Sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley over the top before serving.

Notes

  • Consider using a variety of cheeses for a more complex flavor profile.
  • Enhance the seafood taste by adding or seafood broth to the cheese sauce.
  • Don’t hesitate to include extra seasonings like paprika or cayenne pepper for added depth of flavor.
