Description

Enjoy the vibrant flavors of Japanese hand rolls, featuring fresh ingredients and customizable fillings perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cooked Mahatma® Sticky Rice
  • 34 thin slices of ripe mango
  • 1 tsp Tajín seasoning
  • 1 tsp chili-infused honey
  • 1 sheet of nori (seaweed)
  • 1/2 cup cooked Mahatma® Sticky Rice
  • 23 slices of spicy tofu (pan-fried or baked)
  • 2 tbsp kimchi, chopped
  • 1 tbsp scallions, finely sliced
  • 1 sheet of nori
  • 1/2 cup cooked Mahatma® Sticky Rice
  • 23 mini teriyaki meatballs, halved if needed
  • 34 thin slices of cucumber
  • 1 tsp mayonnaise (Japanese mayo preferred)
  • 1 sheet of nori

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sweet and Spicy Mango Hand Roll by placing the nori sheet on a flat surface, shiny side down. Spread a thin layer of rice diagonally across one half of the sheet. Layer the mango slices on top of the rice. Sprinkle Tajín seasoning and drizzle with chili-infused honey. Roll the nori into a cone shape, sealing the edge with a bit of water. Serve fresh.
  2. Lay the nori sheet rough side up for the Spicy Tofu & Kimchi Hand Roll. Spread the rice along one half of the sheet diagonally. Add the sliced spicy tofu and kimchi, topping with finely sliced scallions. Roll into a cone, sealing as needed.
  3. Position the nori sheet rough side up for the Teriyaki Meatball Handroll. Spread a diagonal layer of rice across the center. Place halved mini teriyaki meatballs and cucumber slices over the rice, finishing with mayonnaise. Roll into a hand cone and enjoy.

Notes

Keep your hands wet while working with sticky rice to make rolling easier. Briefly toasting the nori can enhance flexibility.
