Ingredients
- 16 oz (454 g). penne pasta or pasta of your choice
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 16 oz (454 g). container Trader Joe’s lobster bisque
- 1 16 oz (454 g). package Trader Joe’s Argentinian Shrimp OR 12 oz (340 g). Trader Joe’s froz en langostino tails, thawed cut into small pieces
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) Parmesan cheese + more for serving
- Fresh basil, optional for serving
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Boil Pasta: In a large saucepan filled with boiling water, prepare the pasta until it reaches a firm, but tender texture as directed on the packaging. Drain the water and put it aside.
- Begin the sauce: As the pasta is cooking, warm a small amount of olive oil in a big frying pan. Add the diced onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they become tender. Next, incorporate the shrimp and cook until they are fully done, approximately 2-3 minutes.
- Complete the Sauce: Mix in the lobster bisque and halved cherry tomatoes with the onions and shrimp. Stir and continue cooking until everything is thoroughly warmed.
- Combine Pasta & Finish: Add the cooked pasta to the frying pan. Toss the pasta until it is evenly covered with the sauce. Sprinkle in the Parmesan cheese and mix well. Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan if desired!
