Description

A delightful salmon dish featuring a simple marinade of honey, lemon, and dill that is perfect for grilling or baking, evoking memories of summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 fresh salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Place salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared tray.
  3. Drizzle olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together lemon juice, honey, garlic powder, and dill.
  5. Pour half the marinade over the salmon and let it sit for 15 minutes.
  6. Cook salmon on the grill or in the oven for 12-15 minutes until flaky and golden.
  7. Brush the remaining marinade onto fillets during the last few minutes of cooking. Serve warm.

Notes

Consider adding red pepper flakes for heat or swapping dill for another herb. Fresh herbs enhance flavor.
