Description

A beautifully cooked salmon fillet with a sweet and savory glaze that captivates every guest around the dinner table.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry using paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
  4. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and generously brush half of the glaze mixture over the tops and sides.
  5. Bake for 8 minutes, then remove from the oven and brush with the remaining glaze mixture for an extra burst of flavor.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for another 8-10 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  7. Once cooked, remove from the oven and allow the salmon to rest for 2 minutes.
  8. Finally, sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately while hot.

Notes

Using a meat thermometer can help ensure that your salmon is cooked to the perfect temperature of 145°F.
