Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a skillet over medium heat.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and honey, and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then brush the garlic butter mixture over the top.
- If baking, place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through. If pan-searing, cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve the salmon with lemon wedges and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
For even cooking, let the salmon sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before cooking. Use a food thermometer to check for doneness (145°F/63°C).
