Ingredients

  • 8 large flour tortillas
  • 12 ounce (340 g) s (340 grams) cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounce (227 g) s (227 grams) crab meat
  • 1 cup (240 ml) (240 grams) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s (30 grams) jalapeños, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) (120 milliliters) sour cream
  • 1 cup (240 ml) (115 grams) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters) lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams) garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams) onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (2.5 grams) ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) (1.25 grams) cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) (15 grams) fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  2. Add the finely chopped jalapeños, lime juice, garlic powder, onion powder, ground cumin, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.
  3. Fold in the cooked shrimp, crab meat, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Add the chopped cilantro and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Lay a flour tortilla flat on a clean surface.
  6. Spread a generous amount of the seafood mixture evenly over the tortilla.
  7. Roll the tortilla tightly from one end to the other.
  8. Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas and filling.
  9. Wrap each rolled tortilla in plastic wrap to hold its shape.
  10. Refrigerate the roll-ups for at least one hour to set.
  11. Remove from the refrigerator and unwrap the plastic wrap.
  12. Slice each roll-up into 1-inch (2.5 cm) pieces before serving.
