Ingredients
- 454 g raw shrimp, peeled and deveined (1 lb)
- 30 ml vegetable oil (2 tbsp)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of one lime
- 120 ml sweet chili sauce, your choice of what kind (1/2 cup)
- 15 ml fresh chopped chives (1 tbsp)
- 9 g sesame seeds (1 tbsp)
Instructions
- In a medium skillet on high flame, add the vegetable oil and minced garlic. Let the garlic sizzle for roughly one minute.
- Introduce the peeled and deveined shrimp, and shake the skillet gently. Allow the shrimp to cook until they’re nearly done, approximately 3 minutes.
- Drizzle with lime juice and toss the shrimp well to evenly coat them.
- Pour in the sweet chili sauce, mix thoroughly, and let it simmer briefly. Take the skillet off the heat.
- Scatter sesame seeds and freshly chopped chives on top, and add extra lime wedges if preferred.
- Delicious on their own or paired with a small serving of rice.
