Description

A delightful harmony of sweet and spicy flavors featuring succulent shrimp and vibrant vegetables served over rice.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey or sweetener of choice
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the bell pepper and cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, and sriracha. Pour the sauce over the shrimp mixture and stir to coat.
  6. Add the cooked rice, mixing well until heated through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, prepare the sauce in advance and adjust spice levels to personal preference.
