Description

Learn how to make a mouthwatering Sweet and Spicy Honey Glazed Salmon dish that will tantalize your taste buds. Perfect for a delicious and easy dinner!

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets, about 6 oz each (170 g each)
  • 30 ml honey
  • 15 ml soy sauce
  • 15 ml olive oil
  • 15 ml lemon juice
  • 5 g garlic powder
  • 2 g smoked paprika
  • 1 g cayenne pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly oil it.
  3. In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, olive oil, and lemon juice.
  4. Add garlic powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper to the mixture.
  5. Season the mixture with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush the honey glaze evenly over each salmon fillet.
  8. Let the salmon marinate for about 10 minutes.
  9. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes.
  10. Check for doneness; the salmon should flake easily with a fork.
  11. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  12. Serve the glazed salmon warm.

Notes

  • Consider marinating the salmon in the honey glaze for 30 minutes to 1 hour for a more flavorful dish.
  • Adjust the cayenne pepper to suit your spice preferences, starting with a small amount and adding more as desired.
  • Enhance the garlic flavor by using fresh minced garlic instead of garlic powder in the glaze.
