Ingredients

  • 1 pound (454 g) shrimp, peeled and deveined (450 grams)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) gochujang (30 grams)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) soy sauce (30 milliliters)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) honey (15 milliliters)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sesame oil (15 milliliters)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) vegetable oil (15 milliliters)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lime juice (15 milliliters)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, sliced


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, and minced ginger.
  2. Add shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the marinade.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Add marinated shrimp to the skillet in a single layer.
  6. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  7. Remove skillet from heat and drizzle lime juice over the shrimp.
  8. Sprinkle sesame seeds and sliced green onions over the shrimp.
