Ingredients

- 1/4 cup (60 ml) (60 milliliters) soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters) fresh ginger, grated
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters) olive oil
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters) sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) (1.25 milliliters) red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) (30 milliliters) green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, grated ginger, and minced garlic.
- Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade and mix well.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat olive oil and sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Remove shrimp from marinade, reserving the liquid.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until pink.
- Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet with shrimp.
- Add red pepper flakes and stir to combine.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped green onions.
- Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
