Description
A delightful blend of steak and shrimp in a creamy garlic sauce, perfect for any gathering or cozy night in.
Ingredients
- 2 steaks (ribeye or filet mignon)
- 8 shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove from skillet and let rest.
- In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
- Slice the steaks and serve with shrimp and garlic sauce over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
For a lighter version, reduce the heavy cream or substitute with half-and-half. Pair with a light salad or roasted vegetables.
