Description

A fast and exciting dish featuring shrimp sautéed with vibrant Cajun spices and served over rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Cooked rice (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic, and sauté until softened.
  2. Stir in Cajun seasoning, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve hot over cooked rice and garnish with sliced green onions.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using fresh shrimp instead of frozen, and adjust spices to your liking.
