Description

A vibrant bowl featuring sushi rice topped with spicy tuna, creamy avocado, and crunchy cucumber, perfect for meal prep or entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of tuna, drained
  • 1/4 cup spicy mayo (mayonnaise mixed with Sriracha)
  • 1 cup sushi rice
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Soy sauce, for serving
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rinse sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Place the rice and water in a rice cooker and cook according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Once cooked, mix in one tablespoon of rice vinegar and let it cool.
  2. In a bowl, combine the drained tuna with spicy mayo and mix well until the tuna is thoroughly coated.
  3. Assemble the bowl by placing a generous serving of sushi rice at the bottom.
  4. Top the rice with the spicy tuna mix, cucumber slices, avocado, and chopped green onions.
  5. Drizzle with soy sauce and finish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds on top.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy the explosion of flavors!

Notes

For added texture, consider including tempura flakes or pickled ginger. Adjust the Sriracha for heat preference.
