Description

Delicious and colorful Spicy Shrimp Sushi Stacks made with seasoned shrimp, sushi rice, and fresh vegetables.

Ingredients

  • Sushi rice
  • Cooked and seasoned shrimp
  • Avocado (sliced)
  • Cucumber (sliced)
  • Soy sauce
  • Sriracha or another spicy sauce
  • Rice vinegar
  • Sugar
  • Salt
  • Nori (seaweed sheets)
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare sushi rice according to package instructions, seasoning with rice vinegar, sugar, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix shrimp with Sriracha to taste.
  3. In a mold or layered dish, start with a layer of sushi rice, followed by a layer of shrimp, then avocado and cucumber.
  4. Repeat layers until the mold is full, finishing with rice on top.
  5. Carefully remove the mold and slice into stacks.
  6. Drizzle with soy sauce and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  7. Serve immediately or chill until ready to serve.

Notes

Consider using a sushi mat for tight rolls and clear containers to showcase vibrant colors. Adjust Sriracha for personal heat preference.
