Description

A delightful seafood dish showcasing a blend of flavors with creamy avocado, crispy shrimp, and zesty spicy mayo.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, diced
  • Nori sheets, cut into squares
  • Soy sauce, for serving
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook sushi rice according to package instructions. Once done, mix with rice vinegar and let it cool.
  2. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise and Sriracha to create a spicy mayo.
  3. In a skillet, cook shrimp until pink and crispy, then remove from heat.
  4. In a mold or a small cup, layer the sushi rice, crispy shrimp, avocado, and cucumber.
  5. Carefully remove the stack and place it on a nori square.
  6. Drizzle with spicy mayo and garnish with sesame seeds.
  7. Serve with soy sauce on the side.

Notes

Wetting hands when handling rice helps prevent sticking. Adjust Sriracha for spice preference.
