Description

A fresh, flavorful seafood dish combining spicy shrimp with creamy avocado atop fluffy rice, perfect for a quick dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 ripe avocado, diced
  • 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Toss the shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the shrimp until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  3. In a serving bowl, layer cooked rice, then add the shrimp, followed by the diced avocado.
  4. Drizzle lime juice over the bowl and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.

Notes

Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor and texture. Don’t overcook the shrimp to prevent them from becoming rubbery.
