Ingredients
- 1 pound (454 g) shrimp, peeled and deveined (450 grams)
- 1 cup (240 ml) lump crab meat (150 grams)
- 4 ounce (113 g) s cream cheese, softened (113 grams)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) mayonnaise (60 milliliters)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sriracha sauce (15 milliliters)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) garlic powder (5 grams)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) onion powder (5 grams)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) smoked paprika (5 grams)
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) cayenne pepper (2.5 grams)
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) salt (2.5 grams)
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) black pepper (1.25 grams)
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice (15 milliliters)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh cilantro, chopped (15 grams)
- 24 wonton wrappers
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions
- Chop the shrimp into small pieces.
- In a large bowl, combine the shrimp and crab meat.
- Add the cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sriracha sauce to the bowl.
- Mix in the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
- Stir in the green onions, lemon juice, and cilantro.
- Mix all ingredients until well combined and smooth.
- Lay out the wonton wrappers on a clean surface.
- Place a spoonful of the shrimp and crab mixture in the center of each wrapper.
- Lightly brush the edges of each wrapper with water.
- Fold each wrapper into a triangle, pressing the edges to seal.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove the wontons from the oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve the spicy shrimp and crab party bombs warm.
