Ingredients

  • 2 lbs (907 g) (about 900 grams) chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) honey
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (6 grams) grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (2 grams) sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and rice vinegar.
  2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the mixture and stir well.
  3. Season the chicken thighs with salt and black pepper.
  4. Place the chicken in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish.
  5. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated.
  6. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  7. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  8. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
  9. Arrange the marinated chicken thighs on the prepared baking sheet.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through.
  11. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  12. Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions over the chicken.
