Ingredients
- 2 lbs (907 g) (about 900 grams) chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) honey
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (6 grams) grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (2 grams) sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and rice vinegar.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the mixture and stir well.
- Season the chicken thighs with salt and black pepper.
- Place the chicken in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish.
- Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
- Arrange the marinated chicken thighs on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions over the chicken.
- Serve hot with your choice of side dishes.
