Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters) soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters) hot sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams) ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) (30 grams) green onions, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) (30 grams) cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (2.5 grams) salt
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (2.5 grams) black pepper
- 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s (30 milliliters) lime juice
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup (240 ml) (100 grams) panko breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Chop the shrimp into small pieces.
- In a large bowl, combine crab meat and chopped shrimp.
- Add soy sauce, hot sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger to the bowl.
- Stir in green onions, cilantro, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour lime juice over the mixture and mix well.
- Add the beaten egg to the bowl and stir until combined.
- Gradually add panko breadcrumbs, mixing until the mixture holds together.
- Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- Carefully add the crab shrimp balls to the hot oil.
- Fry the balls until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove the balls from the oil and drain on paper towels.
