Description

A vibrant and flavorful seafood boil featuring shrimp, crab legs, and mussels with a kick of Cajun seasoning, perfect for communal dining.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, deveined
  • 1 lb crab legs
  • 1 lb mussels or clams
  • 1 lb potatoes, quartered
  • 1 corn on the cob, cut into pieces
  • 1/4 cup Cajun seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 lemons, halved
  • Salt to taste
  • Water

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add salt and Cajun seasoning.
  2. Add the potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes.
  3. Add corn and continue to boil for another 5 minutes.
  4. Add the crab legs and mussels (or clams) and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes.
  5. Finally, add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Drain the water and return the seafood and vegetables to the pot.
  7. Add butter and squeeze lemon juice over the feast.
  8. Mix gently and serve hot with extra lemon on the side.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh seafood from local markets. Experiment with homemade Cajun seasoning for a richer flavor.
