Description

A delightful pasta dish featuring shrimp and a creamy garlic aioli, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 8-10 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 bundle Italian parsley, chopped
  • 1/2-1/3 tbsp olive oil for sautéing
  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 16 oz extra-large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Additional olive oil for seasoning shrimp

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions in boiling salted water. Reserve some pasta water.
  2. In a sauté pan, heat olive oil over medium heat until shimmering.
  3. Add chopped garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Season shrimp with salt, black pepper, chili flakes, and paprika. Toss to coat evenly.
  5. Add seasoned shrimp to the pan and cook until pink and opaque, approximately 2-3 minutes on each side.
  6. Combine cooked spaghetti with shrimp in the sauté pan, tossing gently to coat with the remaining oil. Add a splash of reserved pasta water if needed for moisture.
  7. Drizzle with creamy garlic aioli and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Do not overcook the shrimp; they should remain juicy and tender. Adjust chili flakes for desired spice level.
