Description

A simple yet decadent spaghetti dish featuring shrimp in a creamy cheese sauce, perfect for family gatherings and weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 200g spaghetti
  • 300g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 200g cream cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Lower the heat and add the cream cheese, stirring until melted and combined.
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Toss the cooked spaghetti with the shrimp and cream cheese sauce until well coated.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick or a squeeze of lemon juice for acidity.
