  • Tomatoes, 4 large, chopped
  • Tomato paste, 2 tablespoons (30 grams)
  • Salt, 1 teaspoon (5 grams)
  • Black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 grams)
  • Red pepper flakes, 1/4 teaspoon (1 gram)
  • Fresh basil leaves, 1/4 cup (10 grams), chopped
  • Fresh parsley, 1/4 cup (15 grams), chopped
  • Water, 1/4 cup (60 milliliters)


Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
