Description

A vibrant marinade made with soy sauce, citrus, garlic, and ginger that enhances the natural flavors of fresh tuna.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl until fully combined.
  2. Place tuna steaks in a resealable bag or shallow dish.
  3. Pour marinade over the tuna, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove tuna from marinade and pat dry.
  6. Grill or sear for 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare.

Notes

For best results, avoid overcooking the tuna to keep it moist. Consider using a meat thermometer to check for doneness.
