Description

Discover the best ways to cook delicious snapper dishes with our easy-to-follow recipes. From grilling to baking, learn how to make the perfect snapper meal for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • – 1 pound (454 g) red snapper fillets (4-5 fillets)
  • – 2 tablespoons (30 ml) vegetable oil
  • – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) salt
  • – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) pepper

Instructions

  1. Dry the red snapper with a paper towel to remove any moisture.
  2. Coat both sides of the fish thoroughly with vegetable oil, then season with salt and pepper.
  3. Preheat the grill to a medium-high setting and make sure it’s clean. Apply more oil over the grill surface. Alternatively, lightly oil a non-stick pan or cast iron skillet.
  4. Place the snapper on the grill or pan, cooking for 2-3 minutes until the edges begin to turn opaque. Turn the fish over and continue cooking for another 2 minutes.
  5. Take the red snapper off the heat and serve right away.

Notes

  • Pat the red snapper dry before cooking for a crispy exterior.
  • Season both sides of the fish evenly with salt and pepper for balanced flavor.
  • Preheat and clean the grill to prevent sticking and ensure even cooking.
