Description
A hearty slow cooker shrimp boil featuring shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes, perfect for summer gatherings.
Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 ears corn, halved
- 1 pound small waxy potatoes, chopped
- 1 pound smoked sausage, chopped
- Cayenne pepper (optional)
- Diced garlic (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, combine water and Old Bay seasoning.
- Add chopped potatoes and sausage; stir to coat.
- Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-7 hours.
- Add corn and shrimp in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Stir to ensure even cooking and seasoning.
- Serve on a large platter garnished with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
