Description

A hearty slow cooker shrimp boil featuring shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 ears corn, halved
  • 1 pound small waxy potatoes, chopped
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, chopped
  • Cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Diced garlic (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Lemon wedges for serving


Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine water and Old Bay seasoning.
  2. Add chopped potatoes and sausage; stir to coat.
  3. Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-7 hours.
  4. Add corn and shrimp in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  5. Stir to ensure even cooking and seasoning.
  6. Serve on a large platter garnished with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
