Description

A comforting slow cooker lasagna filled with layers of ricotta, mozzarella, marinara, and savory meat, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • Lasagna noodles
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Marinara sauce
  • Ground beef (or sausage)
  • Italian seasoning
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Onion (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef or sausage with chopped onions and minced garlic in a pan.
  2. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Layer marinara sauce at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  4. Break lasagna noodles into manageable pieces and layer them over the sauce.
  5. Add ricotta cheese and mozzarella cheese on top of the noodles.
  6. Top with the browned meat mixture and repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella on top.
  7. Sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper over the layers.
  8. Cover and let it cook on low for about 4-6 hours.
  9. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
