Ingredients
- 1 pound (454 g) (450 grams) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 12 large jalapeño peppers
- 8 ounce (227 g) s (225 grams) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (240 ml) (100 grams) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) (25 grams) grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters) lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (2.5 grams) salt
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) (1.25 grams) black pepper
- 1 cup (240 ml) (240 milliliters) Alfredo sauce
- 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s (30 grams) unsalted butter
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the jalapeño peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix the ingredients until well blended.
- Cut the shrimp into small pieces.
- Fold the shrimp pieces into the cheese mixture.
- Stuff each jalapeño half with the shrimp and cheese mixture.
- Arrange the stuffed jalapeños on a baking sheet.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the stuffed jalapeños.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the jalapeños are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
- While the poppers are baking, warm the Alfredo sauce in a saucepan over low heat.
- Remove the poppers from the oven and drizzle with the warm Alfredo sauce.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
