Ingredients

  • 1 pound (454 g) (450 grams) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 12 large jalapeño peppers
  • 8 ounce (227 g) s (225 grams) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (240 ml) (100 grams) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) (25 grams) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters) lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (2.5 grams) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) (1.25 grams) black pepper
  • 1 cup (240 ml) (240 milliliters) Alfredo sauce
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s (30 grams) unsalted butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the jalapeño peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Mix the ingredients until well blended.
  5. Cut the shrimp into small pieces.
  6. Fold the shrimp pieces into the cheese mixture.
  7. Stuff each jalapeño half with the shrimp and cheese mixture.
  8. Arrange the stuffed jalapeños on a baking sheet.
  9. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  10. Drizzle the melted butter over the stuffed jalapeños.
  11. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the jalapeños are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
  12. While the poppers are baking, warm the Alfredo sauce in a saucepan over low heat.
  13. Remove the poppers from the oven and drizzle with the warm Alfredo sauce.
  14. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
