Ingredients

  • Croissants, 8 large
  • Shrimp, 1 pound (454 g) (450 grams), peeled and deveined
  • Cream cheese, 8 ounce (227 g) s (225 grams)
  • Cheddar cheese, 1 cup (240 ml) (100 grams), shredded
  • Garlic, 3 cloves, minced
  • Butter, 4 tablespoon (60 ml) s (57 grams)
  • Heavy cream, 1/2 cup (120 ml) (120 milliliters)
  • Salt, 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml)
  • Black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml)
  • Green onions, 1/4 cup (60 ml) (25 grams), chopped
  • Fresh parsley, 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s (8 grams), chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Season the shrimp with salt and black pepper, then remove from heat and set aside.
  6. In a saucepan, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  7. Add heavy cream to the saucepan and stir until well combined.
  8. Gradually add cream cheese and cheddar cheese to the saucepan, stirring until melted and smooth.
  9. Mix in the chopped green onions and parsley, then remove from heat.
  10. Cut each croissant into cubes, about 2-3 inches in size.
  11. Hollow out the center of each croissant cube carefully, leaving a thin shell.
  12. Fill each hollowed croissant cube with a spoonful of the cheese mixture.
  13. Stuff each cube with 2-3 shrimp pieces.
  14. Arrange the stuffed croissant cubes on a baking sheet.
  15. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until golden and heated through.
  16. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
