Ingredients
- Croissants, 8 large
- Shrimp, 1 pound (454 g) (450 grams), peeled and deveined
- Cream cheese, 8 ounce (227 g) s (225 grams)
- Cheddar cheese, 1 cup (240 ml) (100 grams), shredded
- Garlic, 3 cloves, minced
- Butter, 4 tablespoon (60 ml) s (57 grams)
- Heavy cream, 1/2 cup (120 ml) (120 milliliters)
- Salt, 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml)
- Black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml)
- Green onions, 1/4 cup (60 ml) (25 grams), chopped
- Fresh parsley, 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s (8 grams), chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
- Season the shrimp with salt and black pepper, then remove from heat and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
- Add heavy cream to the saucepan and stir until well combined.
- Gradually add cream cheese and cheddar cheese to the saucepan, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Mix in the chopped green onions and parsley, then remove from heat.
- Cut each croissant into cubes, about 2-3 inches in size.
- Hollow out the center of each croissant cube carefully, leaving a thin shell.
- Fill each hollowed croissant cube with a spoonful of the cheese mixture.
- Stuff each cube with 2-3 shrimp pieces.
- Arrange the stuffed croissant cubes on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until golden and heated through.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
