Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 oz pasta (linguine or spaghetti)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Pour in the reserved cooking liquid and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the cooked pasta and chopped parsley to the skillet, tossing to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
Consider adding red pepper flakes for heat or a splash of lemon juice for brightness. Reserve pasta water to adjust the sauce consistency.
