Description

A delicious and easy shrimp scampi pasta recipe that blends fresh shrimp, garlic, and herbs for a restaurant-quality dish at home.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour in the lemon juice, then let it simmer for a few minutes.
  6. Add the cooked spaghetti to the shrimp mixture, tossing to combine.
  7. Stir in the parsley, and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve hot.

Notes
