Description

A rich and creamy Shrimp Scampi Bake that combines tender shrimp, al dente linguine, and a luscious garlic-butter sauce, perfect for casual dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces linguine pasta
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
  6. Combine the cooked linguine with the shrimp mixture and half of the Parmesan cheese.
  7. Pour into a baking dish and top with the remaining Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a crispy top, you can broil the dish for a minute or two after baking. Consider adding crushed red pepper flakes for extra flavor.
