Ingredients

  • 150g garlic & herb spreadable cheese, softened
  • 200g beef bacon pieces
  • 18 fresh jumbo shrimp (about 1 lb (454 g)), peeled and deveined with tail left on
  • 1/2 of a 490g package Pepperidge Farm® Puff Pastry Sheets (1 sheet), thawed


Instructions

  1. Turn your oven on and set it to 400°F.
  2. Place approximately 1 teaspoon of the garlic and herb cheese on each shrimp, followed by 1 teaspoon of beef bacon pieces.
  3. Lay the puff pastry sheet out on a surface dusted with flour. Cut the pastry into 18 strips, each ½-inch wide. Starting from the top of each shrimp, wrap one pastry strip around it, allowing the pastry to slightly overlap and stopping just before the tail. Repeat this process with the remaining pastry strips and shrimp.
  4. Arrange the wrapped shrimp on a baking tray with a light coat of oil.
  5. Cook in the oven for 20 minutes or until the pastry achieves a golden brown color.
