Ingredients
- 1 pound (454 g) (450 grams) shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 pretzel hot dog buns
- 8 beef hot dogs
- 1 cup (240 ml) (240 milliliters) nacho cheese sauce
- 1 cup (240 ml) (100 grams) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 jalapeño, sliced
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters) olive oil
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams) garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams) onion powder
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams) smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (2.5 grams) chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) (1.25 grams) salt
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) (1.25 grams) black pepper
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) (60 milliliters) sour cream
- 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s (8 grams) chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the spice mixture.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the shrimp for 3-4 minutes until pink and cooked through.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- Place the pretzel hot dog buns on a baking sheet.
- Slice each beef hot dog lengthwise, making sure not to cut all the way through.
- Place one hot dog inside each pretzel bun.
- Top each hot dog with cooked shrimp.
- Drizzle nacho cheese sauce over the shrimp and hot dogs.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the nacho cheese sauce.
- Add sliced jalapeños on top of each hot dog.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese melts.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
- Drizzle sour cream over each hot dog.
- Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro.
- Serve immediately.
