Ingredients

  • 1 pound (454 g) (450 grams) shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 pretzel hot dog buns
  • 8 beef hot dogs
  • 1 cup (240 ml) (240 milliliters) nacho cheese sauce
  • 1 cup (240 ml) (100 grams) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters) olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams) garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams) onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams) smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (2.5 grams) chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) (1.25 grams) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) (1.25 grams) black pepper
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) (60 milliliters) sour cream
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s (8 grams) chopped fresh cilantro


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the spice mixture.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the shrimp for 3-4 minutes until pink and cooked through.
  5. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  6. Place the pretzel hot dog buns on a baking sheet.
  7. Slice each beef hot dog lengthwise, making sure not to cut all the way through.
  8. Place one hot dog inside each pretzel bun.
  9. Top each hot dog with cooked shrimp.
  10. Drizzle nacho cheese sauce over the shrimp and hot dogs.
  11. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the nacho cheese sauce.
  12. Add sliced jalapeños on top of each hot dog.
  13. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese melts.

  15. Drizzle sour cream over each hot dog.
