Ingredients

  • 2 cups (240 g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup (240 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (120 g) sour cream
  • 1 pound (450 g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup (150 g) lump crab meat
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
  • 1 jalapeño, diced
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) paprika
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 g) black pepper
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 cup (150 g) diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup (50 g) sliced green onions
  • 2 cups (200 g) tortilla chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque.
  4. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add diced jalapeño and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
  7. Add cream cheese and sour cream to the skillet, stirring until smooth.
  8. Mix in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and combined.
  9. Fold in the cooked shrimp, lump crab meat, and diced tomatoes.
  10. Sprinkle chopped cilantro and sliced green onions over the mixture.
  11. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  12. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the dip is bubbly and golden.
  13. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
