Description

Delicious grilled shrimp kabobs marinated in a blend of olive oil, lemon juice, and spices, featuring colorful vegetables for a vibrant meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)
  • Vegetables (bell peppers, onions, zucchini, etc.) (optional)

Instructions

  1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the shrimp and toss to coat; let marinate for about 15-30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the shrimp and optional vegetables onto the skewers.
  6. Grill the kabobs for 2-3 minutes on each side or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  7. Remove from the grill and serve immediately.

Notes

For more intense flavor, marinate the shrimp overnight. Experiment with spices and add soaked wood chips to the grill for a smoky flavor.
