Description

Discover how to make a delicious shrimp flatbread with our easy-to-follow recipe. Perfect for a quick and tasty meal any day of the week!

Ingredients

  • 2 naan flatbreads (or 2 whole pita breads)
  • 1 package (150 g) garlic-herb spreadable cheese
  • 1/2 pound (225 g) peeled and deveined cooked shrimp
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) chopped oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh basil leaves
  • Lemon wedges and cracked pepper, optional

Instructions

  1. Heat your oven to 400°F. Lay the flatbreads on a baking tray. Cover them with the garlic-herb spread. Place the shrimp and sun-dried tomatoes over the spread. Editor’s Tip: Remove the tails from the shrimp for easier eating.
  2. Warm the flatbreads in the oven until they are thoroughly heated, about four to six minutes. Scatter some torn basil leaves and a dash of pepper on top, and serve with lemon wedges, if you like. Editor’s Tip: You can enjoy the flatbreads with utensils or cut them into smaller pieces with a pizza cutter for easier handling.

Notes

  • Remove shrimp tails before placing on flatbreads for a better eating experience.
  • Try different spreadable cheeses like herb and garlic or sundried tomato for added flavor.
  • Experiment with herbs like parsley or cilantro for a unique twist.
