Description

A rich and creamy Italian dish featuring tender shrimp and silky fettuccine.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Slowly whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Toss the cooked fettuccine in the sauce with the shrimp until well coated.
  8. Serve garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the best texture and flavor. Reserve pasta water for adjusting the sauce if needed.
