  • 8-10 Shrimp, deveined and deshelled
  • 1-2 cloves minced Garlic
  • 5 ml Soy Sauce (1 tsp)
  • 5 ml Vegetable Stock Powder (1 tsp)
  • 1/4 tsp (1 ml) Salt

  • 1/4 tsp (1 ml) Sugar
  • 5 ml Sesame Oil (1 tsp)
  • Spring Onions
  • Vegetable Oil

  2. If necessary, add more oil to the pan and crack in the eggs. Stir continuously until they are partially cooked.
  3. Introduce the cooked rice and garlic to the pan. Keep mixing or tossing until the rice is well blended with the eggs.
  4. After mixing, flavor with salt, pepper, vegetable stock powder, soy sauce, and a touch of sugar. Mix thoroughly.
  5. Return the shrimp to the pan along with sesame oil and spring onions. Stir until everything is integrated. Completed!
  6. Optional serving suggestion: Place the shrimp at the base of a bowl, fill with the fried rice, and invert onto a plate for serving.

Notes

  • Ensure the shrimp are properly deveined and deshelled to avoid unwanted texture in the dish.
  • Use fresh spring onions for a vibrant and aromatic addition to the fried rice.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste with soy sauce or salt for a flavorful dish; consider using brown rice for added fiber and nutrients.
