Ingredients
- 1 pound (450 g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup (150 g) cooked crab meat
- 2 cups (200 g) tortilla chips
- 1 cup (115 g) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup (115 g) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1/4 cup (30 g) sliced green onions
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) sour cream
- 2 tablespoon s (30 ml) lime juice
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) chili powder
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine shrimp, olive oil, ground cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Toss shrimp to coat evenly with the spices.
- Place shrimp on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Remove shrimp from the oven and let cool slightly.
- Roughly chop the cooked shrimp.
- On a large ovenproof platter, arrange a layer of tortilla chips.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese over the chips.
- Evenly distribute half of the chopped shrimp and cooked crab meat over the cheese.
- Add another layer of tortilla chips on top.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the second layer of chips.
- Add the remaining shrimp and crab meat on top.
- Place the platter in the oven and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove the platter from the oven.
- Top the nacho stacks with diced avocado and diced tomato.
- Sprinkle sliced green onions over the top.
- Drizzle lime juice evenly over the dish.
- Serve the nacho stacks with sour cream on the side.
